Linkin Park-is an American rock band from Agoura Hills, California. Formed in 1996, the band rose to international fame with their debut album, Hybrid Theory, which was certified Diamond by the RIAA in 2005 and multi-platinum in several other countries Its following studio album, Meteora, continued the band's success, topping the Billboard 200 album chart in 2003, and was followed by extensive touring and charity work around the world. Having adapted the nu metal and rap metal genres to a radio-friendly yet densely layered style in Hybrid Theory and Meteora, the band explored other genres in their next studio album, Minutes to Midnight, which was released in 2007. The album topped the Billboard charts and had the third-best debut week of any album that year. The band has collaborated with several other artists, most notably with rapper Jay-Z in their mashup EP Collision Course, and many others included on Reanimation. Linkin Park has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and has won two Grammy Awards.Linkin Park have released five studio albums.

Linkin Park – amerykańska grupa muzyczna wykonująca szeroko pojętą muzykę rockową. Zespół powstał w 1996 roku w Los Angeles. Obecny skład zespołu: Chester Bennington ,Rob Bourdon,Brad Delson,DavidFarrell ,Joe Hahn i  Mike Shinoda Początki działalności kalifornijskiej grupy Linkin Park sięgają 1996 roku. Wtedy Mike Kenji Shinoda oraz Brad Delson, którzy uczęszczali do tej samej szkoły średniej, po lekcjach nagrywali swoje pierwsze piosenki w małym sypialnym studiu Mike'a. Pierwotnie Linkin Park nosił nazwę Xero. Mniej więcej w czasie, gdy Chester Bennington odszedł od Grey Daze i dołączył do LP, odszedł ze składu Mark Wakefield(wokalista).Formacja zadebiutowała w roku 2000 albumem "Hybrid Theory". Płyta odniosła ogromny sukces - multiplatynowy krążek przyniósł grupie wiele nagród m.in. Grammy za Najlepszy Hard Rockowy Teledysk ("Crawling").Zespół wydał 5 albumów studyjnych. Grupa zagrała ponownie w Polsce 9 czerwca 2012 roku w Warszawie na Orange Warsaw Music Festival w ramach Europejskiej trasy koncertowej wykonując 21 piosenek w tym In The End, Numb, One Step Closer czy The Catalyst. Wielką niespodzianką dla fanów było to, że Brad Delson oraz Dave "Phoenix" Farrell założyli koszulki reprezentacji Polski w piłce nożnej.
